Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 6, 2026  /  Applies to: FRAME FIT for iOS

Your photos and your records never leave your device. There is nowhere for them to be sent — no server was ever built.

There is no account and no sign-in. The developer runs no server and therefore has no way to receive your data at all.

1. What the app handles

The following stays on your device:

The developer receives none of it. Nothing above is transmitted to the developer or to any third party.

2. Where it is stored

By default, photos are stored inside the app's own storage. They do not go into the iPhone Photos app (your camera roll), so they will not appear while you are showing someone else your photos.

Only if you change the storage destination to the system photo album in Settings are photos saved to the Photos app. In that case they are protected according to how the Photos app handles them. That change happens only when you make it.

Sharing, and saving to the camera roll, happen only when you perform that action. When photos are saved to the camera roll they are collected in a "FRAME FIT" album.

3. Protection

4. Transmission to the outside

There is none. Specifically:

5. Location and photo metadata

Location is not collected. The app never asks for location permission.

Photos stored inside the app have their metadata removed — GPS, capture time, device model and so on (photos are always re-encoded when saved, so the original metadata does not survive).

However, when you export photos out of the app, the capture date alone is written back so you can make sense of them later. Location and device model are not written back.

6. Device permissions

PermissionUsed forIf you decline
CameraTaking photosYou cannot shoot inside the app
Face ID
/ passcode
Unlocking the appYou cannot use the lock feature
Photo libraryImporting older photos, saving to the camera rollYou cannot import or save
NotificationsShooting remindersReminders will not arrive

The microphone is not used. Location is not used. You can decline any of these and keep using the rest of the app.

7. Backup and moving to a new device

Photos and records stored inside the app are included in your device backup (iCloud backup, or a backup to a computer). Those backups are under the control of Apple and of you. The developer cannot see what is in them.

What has been verified. An iPhone was erased and restored from an iCloud backup, and photos, records and videos all came back, with the locked-device file protection still in place after the restore (August 2026). Because the backup itself is under the control of Apple and of you, this page does not promise that it will always come back. For records that matter, keep your own copy using the export described in section 9.

8. Sharing with third parties

None. The developer does not hold your data, so there is nothing to share even if asked. If a lawful disclosure request were received, there is no data on the developer's side to disclose.

9. Taking your data out, and deleting it

Because the developer keeps no copy of your data, there is no deletion request desk. Deletion is complete once you do it on your own device.

10. Children

This app is not designed for or directed at children. It collects no personal information of any kind, including information about age.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, this page is updated and the date at the top is changed with it. Whenever the app's behavior changes, this document is reviewed at the same time.

12. This website

This website (not the app) uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It sets no cookies and collects no personally identifiable information. The app itself still sends nothing.
