This is built by one person, so a reply may take a few days. A bug report reaches the person who would be fixing it.
How to use it
1. Shoot
Open the camera and your last photo fades in over the live view. Stand so you line up with that outline and your position and distance match last time. Besides the on-screen button, the volume buttons also fire the shutter, so you can shoot with your arm extended without breaking the framing.
2. Enter numbers (optional)
Right after shooting you can enter weight and body fat. If you do, they sit alongside the photo later and can be burned into exported videos and images. Shooting works fine without them.
3. Look back and export
Pick two photos and drag the divider to compare them overlaid. Choose a range and export it as a time-lapse (mp4). There is no limit on the number of frames.
How often to shoot
Every three days, about twice a week, is the suggestion. Your body does not change in a day, so shooting daily means confirming daily that nothing has changed. Leaving three or four days makes each difference visible.
Frequently asked questions
Where are my photos stored?
By default, inside the app — they do not go into the iPhone Photos app. Only if you change the storage destination to the system photo album in Settings are they saved to Photos. See the Privacy Policy for details.
How are my photos protected?
Photos and the database stored inside the app use iOS file protection so they cannot be opened while the device is locked. While it is locked, not even the app itself can open them. The app applies no encryption of its own — that was removed in July 2026, because losing the key would have made files unrecoverable even from a backup.
Can I move to a new iPhone?
Photos and records are included in your device backup. An iPhone was erased and restored from an iCloud backup, and photos, records, videos and comparisons all came back, verified on a real device (August 2026). The locked-device file protection was still in place after the restore.
What happens to my photos if I delete the app?
Data stored inside the app is removed from your device. Before deleting, export all of your photos and your records as CSV. There is no copy on the developer's side.
Also worth knowing: if you use Offload App in Settings > General > iPhone Storage instead of Delete App from the Home Screen, your documents and data stay on the device. Choose that one if you only need the space back for a while.
Can I keep my photos and records outside the app?
Yes. From Settings you can export every photo you have taken, with capture dates preserved. Weight and body fat records export as CSV. Keeping what you put in retrievable — even if the app stops opening — is the policy.
I want to hide my face before sharing
In the preview shown just before you share, faces that were found can be blurred. You can also cover them with a logo stamp. When no face is found, the app does not pretend one was blurred — it asks you to place the cover by hand. Looking hidden while not being hidden is the most dangerous outcome.
I want to lock the app with Face ID
You can turn it on in Settings. The app then asks for Face ID, or your passcode, each time you open it. It cannot be used if the device has neither Face ID nor a passcode set.
Reminders are not arriving
Check that notifications are allowed in iPhone Settings → Notifications → FRAME FIT. All reminders are local notifications scheduled on the device, so they arrive without a network connection.
Are there streaks or badges?
No, deliberately. Going a while without shooting should not be treated as a loss of points. The only thing shown is "next one in about N days."
Is there an Android version?
No, and there will not be. The behavior cannot be verified on a real Android device here, and shipping something on the assumption that it probably works is not done.
What does it cost?
Downloading is free. To open every feature there is a one-time in-app purchase — a single payment. There is no subscription. Nothing is charged afterward, and nothing stops working later. The exact price for your country is shown on the App Store page.
Before buying, you can try the home screen, comparison and time-lapse. Importing photos is also free for the first ten.
I bought it but features are still locked / I changed devices
Open Settings → Plan to reach the purchase screen, and near the bottom you will find Restore purchase. Tap that. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID, so as long as you are signed in with the same Apple ID you do not need to buy again. If it still does not open, please write to the address below.
Requirements
- iPhone (iOS) only. iPad, Android and desktop are not supported.
- Available in English and Japanese.
- No internet connection is needed. Every feature works offline.
Reporting a problem, and getting in touch
If you find a bug, including the following makes the cause much easier to track down:
- Your iPhone model and iOS version
- The app version, shown at the bottom of the Settings screen
- What you were doing, and what happened
Please do not send photos of your body. The photos themselves are not needed to investigate a bug. If they somehow are, you will be shown a way to check without using them.
